The Adjust-a-Wings Enforcer reflector is manufactured from smooth aluminum with a reflectance of 86%, with a coating, making it suitable even for several seasons of use. Installation and positioning are extremely important to realize the full potential of this tool. Both the position of the reflector and the range play a big role and must be constantly adjusted depending on the size of the plants. Therefore, in the following paragraphs, we will present in a few words the most important parameters necessary for successful use.

Proper use
At the beginning of the vegetative phase, the reflector is hung relatively high above the plants (45 cm with spreader, 60 cm without spreader at HPS 600 W). The wingspan is set in the "narrow" position. In this way, spring conditions are simulated. At the initial stage of growth, i.e. when the plants begin to bloom and stretch (stretching), we set the reflector spread in the "wide" position. We gradually reduce the distance between the reflector and the plant to 30 cm (without spreader) or 45 cm (with spreader). Warmer air, more intense light simulates summer conditions. Once the growth is over and the flowers or fruits get bigger and start to smell more strongly, we gradually raise the reflector and again set the spreader in the "narrow" position. The final distance is 75 cm ( 45 cm without spreader) for HPS 600 W. In this way, autumn conditions are simulated, stimulating the production of hormones and thus the formation of luscious, rich flowers or fruits. Note: If you do not use a spreader, you should be cautious about the spacing data quoted above. Our Australian colleague's data refers to the minimum spacing. If the spreader is not used, add another 5-10 cm to the suggested spacing as a "safety buffer" at the beginning. If no signs of burning appear, you can reduce the distance to the values given. Position of the spreader and bulb Spreader prevents the formation of even the smallest hot spot and makes the entire surface illuminated evenly. To take full advantage of the potential of "Wings", the spreader is essential. Here, too, it is necessary to pay attention to several things. The protective shield is mounted 2-5 mm below the bulb and bent so that it is exactly parallel to the reflector. You can also change the very distance from the reflector to the bulb, so it is possible to optimally illuminate crops of different sizes. For an 80x130 tent, the bulb is placed closer to the reflector so that the light does not escape along the sides. With a 100x100 cm box, you can increase this distance a little, so that the lamp shines more on the width. A simple rule here is: the light should reach on the sides as high as the tops of the plants growing there. The small spacing is the reason why the reflector works well, because the more light the plants can take in, the more nutrients they can absorb (and produce more flowers or fruit). Those who use Wing will certainly observe that the need for minerals and the distance of the plant from the reflector are closely related. During the phases when the distance is smallest, the need for fertilizer clearly increases, with distance - it decreases. Working with Adjust-a-Wings is a matter of experience, as with anything in indoor growing.

Warning.

No Spreader included in the kit.
