pH/EC/TDS Meters

TDS meters allow you to check the degree of salinity of water. The more cations and anions there are in a liquid, the more current it carries. The value obtained allows you to determine whether the membranes work effectively in osmosis, which translates into the quality of uptake of water and nutrients by the roots of the plant. pH meter
Probably the most well-known meters are pH meters. They allow you to check the reaction of the substrate and help when determining its appropriate acidity. This is because, as everyone knows, a substrate that is too acidic significantly limits the growth of plants, even those grown outdoors. Each electric pH meter has two electrodes. The reference electrode has a fixed test voltage, while the measuring electrode detects hydrogen ion activity. The difference between the detected voltages determines the soil pH. With the results obtained, you can react quickly and take appropriate action, usually leading to neutralization of the environment. EC meter
The EC meter helps determine the nutrient content of the solution, i.e. the concentration of the fertilizer. This is especially important for closed-circuit fertilization, where too high a dose of fertilizer lingering in the root sphere can even lead to "burning" of the plants, but on the other hand, a dose that is too diluted will not help achieve the expected growing results.
