Reflectors for HPS & MH bulbs
Growing plants in growboxes requires using to the maximum all the growth-enhancing elements at one's disposal. The relatively small area and volume, as well as the need to artificially create a microclimate that is optimal for the species in question, is a situation where no waste can be afforded. This also applies to lighting. All the more so because if you do not use energy-saving lamps, electricity costs can be considerable. In order to make optimal use of the light provided by lamps, it is recommended to use reflectors and reflectors. They avoid unnecessary scattering of light, and instead direct it to where it is needed, i.e. to the plants. Modern reflectors and reflectors allow you to increase the efficiency of lighting by up to 60-70%. This can be used to provide the plants being grown with an amount of light that roughly corresponds to natural conditions, and thus guarantee a correspondingly high yield.
Reflectors mean savings
Aluminum reflectors, made of properly polished sheet metal, reflect even more than 90% of the light. Thus, it does not fall on the walls of the growbox, where it would be completely unnecessary, but reaches the stems and leaves. Each reflector for the reflector means energy savings and better use of the lamp. When choosing reflectors for reflectors, it is worth bearing in mind their division into ventilated and non-ventilated. The former are adapted to connect a fan and a ventilation duct, with which the heat from the lamp will be discharged outside the growbox. This allows you to protect the plants, place the lamps low above them and reduce the temperature throughout the room. The aluminum reflector should be resistant to corrosion that could form on it under the influence of humidity in the growing room.
