HYDROPONICS

Hydroponics is a method of growing plants without the use of soil media, using mineral nutrients in an aqueous solution. Although the concept of hydroponic cultivation has been used for millennia, it has only recently received more attention because, by following the correct cultivation principles, the hydroponic method produces greater, faster-achieving, and healthier results than other cultivation methods, providing significant environmental benefits. In hydroponics, water temperature control is extremely important. Plant roots require large amounts of oxygen to grow, and at lower temperatures water can carry more oxygen. When the water exceeds 25 degrees C, the roots are unable to work efficiently leading to wilting and the development of worms, fungi, and disease.

In most hydroponic systems ,the ideal watertemperature is between 18- 22 ° C, which provides protection from pathogens. However, in indor cultivation, the growing environment can be very warm, due to the use of artificial lighting, heating, and poor ventilation, especially during the warm months, causing the aforementioned problems.

Hence Teco SRL, a leader in cooling fields, has invented fully cost-effective and fully efficient tools to keep the nutrient solution, as well as the water in the hydroponic system, at the ideal temperature.

From design to coming off the production line, our MADE IN ITALY hydroponic chillers have been designed to provide a high level of quality for the grower, especially with the use of high quality materials, with special attention to consumption and environmental concerns.

WHY USE A CHILLER

-Ideal for hydroponics (NFT - Nutrition Technology, Ebb & Flood,

-DWC - Deep Water Culture, RDWC - Recirculating Deep Water Culture), aquaponic and aeroponic ;

Exclusive use of industry-recognized high-efficiency compressors ensures high performance. The technology used allows to reduce noise levels and achieve the highest COP - Coefficient of Performance contributing to significant energy savings.

DIGITAL THERMOSTAT

Function setting is intuitive and temperature detection is accurate. The setting range is 18"- 22 ° C (64"-72 ° F).

EFFICIENT DESIGN

The hydroponic chiller with its innovative design, sturdy construction, and small size, is suitable when space is limited.

HY500 / 1000 / 2000

Thanks to the innovative feeder, it is possible to install the chiller inside the Growbox. If the aggregate is installed inside the growbox (Figure 1), the aggregate helps to exchange air and release heat from the tent. If installed outside the growbox (Figure 2), the genset contributes to heating the indoor environment
