pH + moisture meter/tester 2-in-1, for soil
Scale: 0-8 pH
Accuracy: 0.2 pH
For measuring pH and moisture in various types of soil.
VF pH and humidity meter
Use: To measure pH and moisture in various types of soil
Scale: pH = 3-8pH, Moisture= 1-8 (10%-80%)
Accuracy: +/-0.2 pH
Optimum operating temperature: 5-50 degrees C (41-122 Fahrenheit)
Calibration: remove the oxide layer (oxidized metal) from the metal rings by gently polishing (this can be done with water paper)
Instructions:
Remove obstacles from the soil such as persistent, surface soil, leaves, stones, ceramic granules, etc. If the soil is dry or fertilizer has been recently added, spray it with water and wait 25-30 minutes before measuring. The meter does not work in dry soil
Before using the tester, make sure the metal surfaces are clean (you can do this with a damp cloth). If the tester has not been used before, clean the tip and put it in the soil several times before the actual measurement, this will help remove dirt and oxide film from the metal, this affects the accuracy of the measurement.
Insert the meter into the soil so that all the metal rings are below the surface. The meter can sometimes show different values in several measurements, this depends on the moisture content of the soil and the way the soil particles are arranged around the sensor, it is recommended to draw an average result from several measurements.
Press and hold the button to start the moisture measurement.
Clean the meter of debris after use.
Attention:
Do not leave the meter in the soil for more than an hour to avoid damaging the metallic parts of the meter.
Make sure the metallic parts are clean and dry when the meter is not in use.
Do not use the meter near magnetic fields and avoid contact with other metal parts.
Do not take measurements in liquids, this tester was not designed for this purpose.
Avoid touching maetal parts with your fingers, this may cause reduced voltage flow, i.e. inaccurate measurement.
